			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Grief is often overlooked and misunderstood in the workplace.  As a result, both the workplace and the grieving employee suffer.  This two-hour presentation will discuss the challenges that grief brings to the griever and their employment.  Major topics include:  the physical and psychological effects of grief, the financial cost, work related losses, the role of grief in life changes, the role of grief in substance abuse, and a model for healthy grieving that applicable to the EAP professional.</p>
<p><strong>Since 1994 Mark Frankle, M.A. has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  He and his wife, Debi Jenkins Frankle, M.S., L.M.F.T., founded Calabasas Counseling and Grief Recovery Center. </strong></p>
<p><strong>The focus of Mark&#8217;s work is helping clients overcome the heartbreak of loss and terminal illness. In addition to overcoming the painful issues of grief, Mark also works with couples trying to surmount the conflicts and pitfalls of romantic relationships. </strong></p>
<p><strong>This event is held at Valley Family Center located on 302 South Brand in San Fernando. </strong></p>
