Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension that can often come from an uncertain organizational event that can lead to chaos, frustration, and nervousness. A healthy work life balance can improve physical, emotional, mental and career health. In short bursts, stress can be positive, such as when it helps the organization avoid danger or meet a deadline. Learn how to find balance and make life work for the organization, your patient, and you.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to help the organization deal with situations that are uncertain, unclear, and chaotic
  • Identify Symptoms of Stress and Imbalance
  • Learn Different Balancing Styles
  • How to create an organization of balance to meet your goals

    Elizabeth Holman is currently President at The Holman Group, a national managed mental health care company. Ms. Holman has been with The Holman Group since 1999. During her tenure, she has held over 10 positions and is now President. Ms. Holman has extensive knowledge of Managed Mental Health Care Plans including self-funding, fully insured mental health and substance use plans, specialty riders, compliance, Employee Assistance Programs & Crisis Response.

    Ms. Holman has served as Public Service Chair and Past President of the Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters, Past President of the Ventura County Health Underwriters Association, and was a member of the Los Angeles Employee Benefits Planning Association. She is a graduate of the Toast Masters International speaking program and has been invited to speak at various Rotary clubs and participate in Health Forums in the community. Ms. Holman is also a certified speaker for Continuing Education courses approved by the Department of Insurance for Health and Life Brokers CE credits. She also holds a B.A. in Business Administration & Spanish from the University of San Diego and a M.B.A. from the Maharishi International University.
