Dr. Michael W.V. Mackie is a second-generation psychotherapist who obtained his PhD in Clinical-Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University after attending the University of San Diego. He has worked in the field of Forensic Psychology for more than 10 years, specializing working with Sexually Violent Predators. Mike has worked with a variety of clinical and forensic populations, including sexual offenders, oppositional adolescents, ADHD assessment and treatment, anti-social persons, persons with acute clinical disorders, and dual diagnosis patients. Most recently, Mike has worked with Glendale Adventist Hospital—researching and performing Resident trainings with their Family Medicine Center. Currently he splits his time between his private practice and working with the treatment team at Foundations LA; where he is able to conduct psychological testing and interpret psychological data. When not working, Mike can usually be found swimming, as his interests include exercising, spending time with family, good conversation and traveling.
