Presented by Presented by Kim Scott
Please join us for a very informative presentation on Using Principals of Positive Psychology to Enhance Your Therapy Practice.
Positive Psychology is not about ignoring real problems. Rather, it is about moving out of the Disease Model, building on our client’s strengths, nurturing their talents, and making their lives more fulfilling. In this seminar, we review methods, examine techniques and broad the understanding of Positive Psychology. These techniques also assist clients in viewing their struggles at home and in the workplace as issues they have the strength to address.
In this seminar we will explore:
- Study the background and philosophical underpinnings of Positive Psychology
- Differentiate hedonistic happiness from the deeper levels of happiness, which lead to meaning, wellbeing, and purpose
- Review three models of Positive Psychology and learn how they can help individuals, couples, and companies thrive
- Practicing numerous techniques that can be used in session to help your clients enhance their level of wellbeing (and yours too)
