Presented by Glenn Scott Lipson, Ph.D., A.B.P.P.
Join us for this important and informative presentation on Workplace Violence and Threat Assessment. Doing a thorough Threat Assessment is critical to maintaining workplace safety. Threat assessment is a critical skill in determining, reporting and hopefully minimizing risk. There are specific skill sets that can be developed by professionals in this area. Additionally, many employers as well as EAPs are not aware of when to refer to the Employee Assistance Program and/or when to refer to a third party threat assessment specialist. Dr. Lipson will discuss the importance of assessing, reporting and referring.
1) Gain an understanding of factors that increase the potential for problems at the workplace
2) Learn methods to reinforce protective/preventative factors
3) Develop an understanding of the latest reporting mandates
