"Click, Click, Done: Internet Pornography Addiction"

May 22, 2015

Presented by Kimberly Resnick Anderson, LISW, ACSW, AASECT-Certified Diplomate in Sex Therapy

This timely presentation will highlight how Internet pornography in the workplace decreases productivity, performance, and profit. Statistics will be offered to underscore this escalating problem. Ms. Resnick Anderson will identify special situations in which employers may be held legally responsible for Internet-based crimes that occur in the work environment. Attendees will walk away with a concrete plan to deter, monitor, and address Internet pornography use at work or on company computers at home. This presentation will further discuss ways in which Internet pornography is changing how young men and women develop sexually, how it is literally changing sexual behavior/patterns, and how these changes are addressed in a therapeutic setting. Actual examples from the presenter's 20+ years in clinical practice will highlight how these changes play out over time. Attendees are encouraged to share challenging cases and/or ask question about their own company policies, procedures, or treatment options.
