Please join us for a very informative and lively presentation on “Elevating Ethical Awareness”. We will share case presentations, have group dialogue on challenging ethical situations that challenge all of us and just have some fun as we address this very important aspect of our professional practice.
We will also explore a framework for making ethical decisions and discuss case examples straight from the front lines of EAP. We will discuss the challenges of maintaining confidentiality within an EAP framework; explore the challenges of maintaining boundaries and avoiding conflict of interest situations. We will discuss ethical consideration when making referrals and how to determine the difference between a legal issue and an ethical issue.
