Mitchell A. Karasov, ESQ. began practicing law in 1988 as a Business Attorney. In 1993, his legal specialization shifted as his ninety year old grandmother fell ill and he witnessed first-hand, the extensive stress inflicted on the caregiver of an elderly family member. He became one of the individuals responsible for his family member’s medical, financial and legal decisions relating to hospitalization, home health care, assisted living and skilled nursing. He learned of the need for more attorneys who truly understood elder care issues. Following further research and education in the field of Elder Law, Mr. Karasov opened his practice, which focuses on all aspects of Elder Law, with the primary concentration in Conservatorships, Medi-Cal Planning, Elder Abuse Litigation, Probate and Trust Administration.
