Please join us for an informative presentation on “The History and Role of Unions and EAP” by Steve Miranda, CEAP.  Steve has worked with unions for almost 20 years for and has partnered with International EAPA on presentations pertaining to unions and EAP.   By attending this presentation, you will learn about:

  1. The history of EAP and Unions
  2. Collective Bargaining Agreements
  3. Grievance and Arbitration Processes
  4. How EAP and Unions can partner together

Steve Miranda, CEAP has worked with unions for almost 20 years.  He is currently the Director of Business Development, American Addiction Centers.   Steve has presented numerous times to professionals on the relationship of unions and EAP. Steve was with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. Retired as Sargent/ Director of the Dept. of Corrections Employee Assistance Program (5.500 employees, family members and retires) for 22 years.  He is certified in Critical Incident Stress Debriefings and participated on various workplace and domestic violence prevention committees.  He is currently the Treasurer of the MA/RI EAPA Chapter.
